Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 19 July 2026. These terms apply to your use of the Smart AI Core website and online enquiry features.

1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions explain how you may use this website and how Smart AI Core handles website enquiries, quote requests and general online information.

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the website.

Separate written terms, proposals, statements of work, installation agreements, support agreements or training terms may apply to specific projects or services. If there is a conflict, the project-specific written terms will take priority for that project.

2. Who operates this website

This website is operated for Smart AI Core, a smart property systems business based in Havant, United Kingdom.

You can contact us at info@smartaicore.com.

Formal trading details, including registered company or VAT information where applicable, will be set out in project documentation, quotes and invoices.

3. Website information

The website is provided for general information, marketing and enquiry purposes. The content does not create a binding quotation, technical specification, professional survey, installation agreement or service contract.

We aim to keep the website accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all information is complete, suitable for your property or available at all times.

Smart home technology, access systems, camera systems, automation platforms and third-party products change over time. Recommendations must be confirmed for the specific property, scope, site conditions and client requirements.

4. Acceptable use

You must use this website lawfully and responsibly. You must not:

  • Use the website in a way that breaches applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, server, forms, database, admin area or connected systems.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, malicious code or harmful traffic.
  • Interfere with the availability, security or performance of the website.
  • Submit false, misleading, abusive or unlawful information through forms.
  • Scrape, copy or reuse substantial parts of the website content for commercial purposes without permission.

5. Enquiries and quotes

You may use the website to submit general enquiries, commercial quote requests, residential quote requests and partnership enquiries.

Submitting an enquiry does not require us to accept the work, provide a quote or enter into a contract. We may decline an enquiry where the work is outside our service area, capability, availability, risk appetite or business requirements.

Any quote is only binding if issued formally in writing by Smart AI Core and stated to be valid. Quotes may depend on survey findings, property conditions, product availability, third-party costs, access requirements, client decisions, timescales and agreed scope.

If a project requires further survey, design, third-party approval, electrical work, network work, building work, gate safety review, permissions or specialist input, these may affect pricing, timing and feasibility.

6. Services referred to on this website

The website refers to services including smart home design, smart home integrations, smart building automation, Home Assistant, KNX installations, IT and telecommunications consultancy, on-premises automation, AI surveillance systems, 24/7 professional monitoring, fire detection, intruder alarm systems, smart locks, smart gates, access control, commercial smart building solutions, residential smart home systems, partnerships and installer training routes.

The exact services available for a project will depend on the property, location, safety requirements, technical requirements, supplier availability, scheduling and the written scope agreed with Smart AI Core.

Some work may require third-party professionals, including electricians, network specialists, gate safety specialists, construction professionals or other qualified contractors. Where needed, responsibilities should be confirmed in the project documentation.

7. Security, access and surveillance systems

Smart locks, smart gates, access control and surveillance systems can support security and awareness, but no system can guarantee prevention of crime, unauthorised access, technical failure, human error or loss.

AI surveillance and monitoring features may depend on camera placement, lighting, network availability, software settings, third-party services, user configuration and ongoing maintenance.

Clients remain responsible for using security, camera and access systems lawfully, including any responsibilities relating to signage, privacy, employment law, data protection, surveillance laws, public-facing cameras, neighbour privacy and site-specific risk assessments.

8. Third-party products and platforms

Projects may involve third-party products, services or platforms such as Home Assistant, KNX, Google services, Firebase, Brevo, Ubiquiti, Aqara, Shelly, Sonoff, Homey, Meross, Nabu Casa or other suppliers.

Third-party products and services are subject to their own terms, warranties, support policies, availability, software updates, data processing terms and limitations. We are not responsible for changes, outages, discontinued products, manufacturer decisions or third-party service failures outside our control.

Where we recommend or install third-party products, the final suitability of those products depends on the agreed project scope, property conditions and third-party specifications.

9. Training and partnership information

The website may refer to Smart Home Training Center courses, certifications and potential consideration for the Smart AI Core network.

Training, certification or network opportunities are not guaranteed by submitting an enquiry. Any training place, certification outcome, partner status or network participation will depend on the relevant criteria, availability, assessment, agreement and ongoing standards.

10. Intellectual property

The website design, text, layout, branding, graphics, code and other materials are owned by or licensed to Smart AI Core unless stated otherwise.

You may view the website for personal or internal business purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, adapt, publish, distribute or commercially exploit website content without written permission, except where permitted by law.

11. Links to other websites

The website may link to third-party websites or services. Those links are provided for convenience only. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices or terms.

12. Privacy and cookies

Our use of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

The website uses or may use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and Google tags for analytics and advertising measurement where enabled. Non-essential analytics and advertising cookies should only run where consent has been given through the cookie controls.

If you reach the website through a partner referral link or QR code, a first-party referral cookie is stored on your device to attribute any later enquiry to the correct referral partner, as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Referral links and partner QR codes

We operate a referral programme in which partners, such as taxi companies and their drivers, may display unique referral links or QR codes that direct people to this website.

When you use one of these links or codes, we record the referral and store a first-party referral cookie so that any enquiry you later submit can be attributed to the relevant partner. Using a referral link or code does not change the enquiry process, the services available to you, or any pricing, and it does not oblige you to do anything.

Referral partners are responsible for displaying their links and codes lawfully and honestly. Partners must not misrepresent Smart AI Core, make guarantees on our behalf, or capture, alter or misuse the personal data of people they refer. Any reward or commercial arrangement with a referral partner is governed by a separate agreement between Smart AI Core and that partner and does not form part of these website terms.

14. Website availability

We may update, suspend, withdraw or restrict access to all or part of the website at any time. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors.

We are not liable for website downtime, maintenance, hosting issues, internet failures or events outside our reasonable control.

15. Liability for website use

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory rights where they cannot be limited, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

Subject to the paragraph above, the website is provided on an information-only basis and we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on website content without a project-specific written assessment, quote or agreement.

If you are a business user, we will not be liable for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of anticipated savings, business interruption or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website.

If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

16. Consumer rights

If services are supplied to a consumer, the consumer may have rights under consumer protection law, including rights relating to reasonable care and skill, information provided before a contract, cancellation rights for certain distance or off-premises contracts, remedies for defective services and statutory protections that cannot be excluded.

Any consumer project terms should be provided clearly before the consumer is bound by a contract.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated terms.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute relating to this website are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
